Alphabet Learning Sticks #TBCcrafters

Hi everyone! It's Isis AGAIN! I'm really having fun creating and crafting with my mom, I even enjoy the planning part, what to do craft this week, what materials do I need, what do I have on hand and you know how it goes. Usually as crafts unfold, I adopt new ideas and really get moving. This week, my craft idea was inspired by my mom, she's been working with my baby sister Isabella, teaching her the alphabet, and then the "Alphabet Learning Sticks" were born. It's actually really simple and really cheap, and Isabella really likes them, so...

Materials
Alphabet Clip Art (on the web, and printed-free)
Alphabet Foam Stickers ($1)
Colorful Popsicle Sticks ($2.50)
Laminator/Laminating Sleeves (already had)
Tape Adhesive (love this stuff, $9.99 for a 3 pack refill)

Excuse the picture of the Glue Stick, I decided to laminate it later after all the shapes were cut out.

Instructions

Either use Microsoft word, or google and gather your desired images (a is for apple, b is for bananas, c is for cookie), I used objects that Isabella can relate to or recognize and print out in color.

(As I'm doing this and taking pictures for this post, I realized that I skipped the letter Y and put C for Cat instead of the K for Kitten like I planned, how'd I do that?)

Cut out individual pictures.

Add coordinating alphabet stickers onto photo.

Laminate.

Cut around shapes and then use the tape adhesive to attach to popsicle sticks.

I plan on decorating a recycled coffee container to hold them and making a game out of the "Alphabet Learning Sticks" for Isabella to get more out of it.

I love my baby sister!

Until Next Time,
