NAAT Treatment Curly Hair Collection Review/Giveaway Ends 2/19 (US ONLY no PO BOX)

I've often dreamed of having curly hair, long locks of spring curls, I've done pin up curls, old school curlers, curling ironing, buns over night and many other options to add some oomph to my flat, straight hair but nothing seemed to work. My house is filled with curly headed kids,and suddenly, I don't dream about being curly anymore. I've got a toddler, tween and teen with massively curly hair, each with their own texture, weight and curliness and it can be a challenge to make their beautiful little heads of hair look beautiful and bouncy, without frizz or clumping (you'll see what I mean later).

I was very happy to receive the NAAT Treatment Curly Hair Collection (4 Products) for review, because alas there was a complete line, system, treatment that would possibly HELP my little heads of curly locks!

Let me start off by saying that the NAAT Treatment Curly Hair Collection couldn't have arrived at a more opportune time, my girls hair were at their worst, in need of special love and attention. I had so much fun working with them, bonding with them and really getting their hair looking... Well... I'll let you be the judge of what it looked like after I share my thoughts.

 

The first product I used in Isabella's hair was the NAAT Treatment Curly Hair with Cupuaçu & Keratin Shampoo: Daily hydrating shampoo increases moisture and shine. Use regularly. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. 

When I look for a quality shampoo, I choose a shampoo with a beautiful scent (that will last) and one that will moisturize and add shine. This one smelled great and I could instantly feel a difference in the texture of her hair, but she still required some work.

 

The second product we used was the NAAT Treatment Curly Hair with Cupuaçu & Keratin Conditioner: Restorative conditioner specifically designed to retain moisture and control curls. Use regularly.

This conditioner was amazing, the scent was beautiful, not overpowering and it didn't smell like something chemically created, it was natural. I immediately felt a difference in her hair, with the conditioner in, I hand combed her hair, and though there were some tough spots, the majority of her knots came out gracefully.

 

The third and final product I used in Isabella's hair was the NAAT Treatment Curly Hair Leave-In with Cupuaçu & Keratin: An ideal, intensive leave-in conditioner for use with naturally curly or chemically process hair. It maximizes your hair’s natural body and brilliance. Use regularly. Style hair as usual.

This product had a thick consistency, but it felt very glossy. I put about a dime sized dollop in my hand and it moisturized her ENTIRE head of hair! Which is amazing! I felt a difference in the texture of her hair, certainly after putting this in her hair, the knots came out relatively effortlessly! AMAZING for the first time she didn't cry as I combed it and she was very proud of that fact.

 

For my daughter Janelle, we followed the same steps, but skipped over the leave-in to use the NAAT Treatment Curly Hair Intensive Hair Mask with Cupuaçu & Keratin: A long-term moisturizing solution that revitalizes dull, dry hair. Leave in for 10-20 minutes. Rinse completely. Use twice monthly, or as often as necessary. I didn't use this in Isabella's hair for two reasons, one I didn't think she'd appreciate having to keep something in her hair for 20 minutes, and two, her hair isn't "damaged and in need of deep conditioning". If I thought she needed it or that she'd sit still, I would definitely try it in her hair as I know that it would only increase the results of using the entire treatment line.

This was an even thicker consistency, same infused scent, it didn't make her hair itchy or tacky, it went into her hair smoothly, almost like her hair soaked up the moisture immediately. We put a towel over her head and waited for the entire 20 minutes before rinsing. After which we followed with the Leave In Conditioner (Hand combed & combed) then air dried and waited for the results.

I will say that Janelle's hair is probably going to take a little more time using the products before it will really meet my standards. Her hair is extremely thick, mistreated and overly neglected. I will say that after JUST ONE treatment, the overall look and feel of her hair was amazingly healthy, bouncy, and full of smooth and glossy body. She actually left her hair down the entire day, which is major, considering she finds it easier to just throw it up in a pony tail than to deal with her beautiful curls. With both my daughters they require additional product to maintain frizz, I cannot speak on/if prolonged use with assist with this aspect.
