My mom has been keeping this t-shirt around for years, and
today she finally decided to get rid of it. But instead of throwing it in the
trash, we thought we could maybe turn it into something. I like to use Google,
but my mom likes to use Pinterest, so we searched and searched and searched for
"t-shirt crafts" and came across this
t-shirt scarf and I said "I'm
going to make that"! And so, I did. I’m not sure if I'll wear it to school
yet, but, I think it’s cute enough to wear this summer. What do you think?
Pretty good for my first try no?
I promise it's easy!
Materials & Instructions
Gather supplies, an old shirt
and a pair of scissors.
1.Cut off the top of the t-shirt
(under the armpits)
2. Make sure the shirt is properly
aligned and cut thin strips about a quarter of the way up.
3. After you're done cutting the
strips pull down on each strip until each strip is thin and stringy.
4. After you've finished pulling on
the strips, put the scarf around and wrap around twice and arrange it the way
you desire.
Until Next Time,
Adorable!!! Pinned & Tweeted!
