Stella Artois "A Beautifully Crafted Beverage" Review #imabzzagent

So BzzAgent has been keeping me and my husband busy since last year. I've been sent some wonderful products that the entire family has enjoyed for free! But this one was especially meant for my husband and I. We were sent free Stella Artois Chalices. These Chalices were to house the most delicious, crisp, smooth adult beverage along with the 9-Step Belgian Pouring Ritual. Sounds delightful and simple enough right?

"Stella Artois is part of a Belgian brewing tradition that reaches back to 1366. The Chalice is a symbol of authenticity and value that allows the beer to flow, breathe and develop a pristine head. The shape of the Chalice is positive for CO2 which enhances the head retention and flavor. The angles at the bottom of the Chalice glass cause a wave when the liquid is poured that enhances the beer. The stem of the Chalice provides a place to hold the glass so that the Stella Artois stays cold longer."

So you see, though Stella Artois is a beautifully crafted beer, the Chalice plays a pretty hefty role in the "production" of the "perfect" beer. The 9 Step Belgian Pouring Ritual is the second (or third) piece of the production. Here are the steps:

1. The Chill - Best Served Cold!
2. The Purification - A fresh cleaned glass
3. The Unveiling - Grab your bottle opener and pop it open.
4. The Liquid Alchemy - Tilt that baby (Chalice) sideways when pouring.
5. The Crown - Lift if upright and pour the rest into the Chalice
6. The Beheading - You might have some overflow, "chop" it off.
7. The Judgement - How does that taste?
8. The Cleansing - Before you pour another bottle into your Chalice, cleanse it again.
9. The Bestowal - Admire your beer!

My husband and I had a great time together drinking and enjoying our first glass together, it has since replaced his beer altogether! So I'll say that he definitely appreciates it more, especially since he won't drink this one out of a bottle ever, he makes sure to cleanse his Chalice each time before her pours another!

Me on the other hand? I'm not a big beer drinker, but I will tell you this, it was a very flavorful beer, it was smooth and didn't leave me feeling "full and bloated" like some others I've tried.

Some more information? Stella was originally crafted for the holidays. Being named after the Holiday Star, Stella Artois was first brewed as gift to the people in Leuven, Belgium. This here is a golden lager, it's brilliant amber color illuminated holiday celebrations for generations after.  Artois, comes from the acknowledgement of the master brewer and owner of the brewery Sebastian Artois.

Disclaimer: My husband and I received free Chalices from BzzAgent in exchange for our review. No other compensation was received.

Until Next Time,
