Winner! Little One Books Jazzy Art Print

Here's a little inspiration as to what YOUR Jazzy Art Print could look like. I got the frame at Michael's for $10 because it was on sale. But it was the most simple for the beautiful print. I think it paired well with Isabella's Name Block.

Inspiring Beauty through mark.

After reading Janet Poole's "How to get anything you want, Just Like That!" (read review/giveaway by clicking title), I was inspired to take action, hold myself accountable and accept that the reason my mark business isn't what it used to be is solely based on my actions. The reason why women aren't taking an interest in my mark business, is because I don't get the word out, share the product and all that inspired me about the company to begin with.

mark. is embarking on a new innovative ideas to get their reps pumped up and moving in a positive direction that will help fulfill their hopes, dreams and goals, by implementing the mark fast start for all of their reps, giving them the opportunity to reestablish themselves in their communities, their friendships, and their mark businesses.

I wanted to familiarize you with mark., why I became a mark rep, the benefits of being a mark rep and of course, expose you to the beautiful products that are always on trend with high fashion, but at the most competitive FRUGAL prices. I believe that mark understands the wants and needs of all women in their different stages and different walks of life. I love looking beautiful and I love feeling beautiful, but find that I can't always achieve that look and feeling without spending a ton of money, and being that I am a stay at home mother of 4, it doesn't happen often, that is why I love mark. Because mark helps me to achieve that look, at a fraction of the cost.

I signed up to be a mark rep less than a year ago, I took mark by storm, spreading the news, sharing the product, hosting parties and exuding mark at all times, but then something happened and I fell off. I lost sight of my goals and dreams and all that inspired me about mark in the first place.  mark. supports women, mark. encourages women, mark. inspires women and provides them with all the tools they need to achieve their hopes, goals and dreams, and you get all of this for just $20. With my $20 investment, I received an amazing starter kit, complete with a lifetime membership and 30% discount, an online eBoutique, and business cards. Additionally, I've met some wonderful, beautiful, inspiring like minded women, I've received monthly training, rewards and so much more than I could ever explain in words. Sign up to become a mark rep here and join me in achieving goals, sharing beauty, fashion and charity to women everywhere! (enter referral code: 9707257)

I've learned that success is only what you make it, and that anything you hope to achieve, wish to achieve, want to achieve is at your disposal, you have the support of a vast community of women who are generous, loving, warm, welcoming and kind, because they share their products, tips, insights and then some, but they also share their support and friendship too. I support mark. not just because of the women in it, that buy from it, but for the women that benefit from mark. m.powerment.  The mark m.powerment line of products provides that 100% of the proceeds go towards supporting their cause, through education, grants and the like, mark.'s initiative hopes to break the cycle of dating and domestic violence.

It is my goal to share mark with each and every one of you, because mark has inspired me to be beautiful, accept my beauty and share the beauty that is mark with everyone I know. Help me to achieve my goals and spread the word, shop my mark eBoutique or perhaps even join me by becoming a mark rep and follow me on my journey to achieving success.

How to get anything you want Just Like That! Review & Giveaway

How to get anything you want Just Like That!

A book about discovering yourself, understanding yourself and getting over yourself. Traveling through you inner being, understanding your truest potential, and eventually finding out and achieving your goals, dreams, wants and desires, without allowing anything to hinder your progress. I suppose that I avoided reviewing this book because I had some sort of disbelief as to what it could potentially deliver to me or deliver me to, I should say. That I've heightened my awareness, my understanding and essentially my goals for myself. I've learned a little more about who I am and what makes me tick, my apprehension to put my best foot forward and progress, succeed and achieve is no longer there, I want to go out and grab my goals.

A little about the the author (this is a partial exert from her website, "About Janet" is linked directly to her Bio for further reading if interested), Janet Poole, expressed through her own words from her website:

About Janet

450 pxHi! Janet here, it’s my mission to help people reach their true potential, live life on their own terms and become inspired about life; to wake up enthusiastic about their day.
Something about Me

In a nutshell, I’m friendly, approachable and the eternal optimist. I’m saying that because it may not come across in my writing. You see, I may be friendly but I’m also a private person. Possibly a cultural thing – born in sunny South Africa I’d say generally we’re a reserved bunch. But maybe it’s just me.
What I do know is that I’m constantly being asked to talk more about me. And here I was thinking it was all about you.

Getting Over Myself

My passion for personal development and teaching helps me – get over myself. Placing my photograph on my book cover (and this blog) felt extremely awkward but I eventually told myself to just get over it. I love seeing other people’s photos and that got me over the line. If you’re a private type of person you’ll understand, otherwise probably not. I do admire those of you who are so open and outgoing by the way.

Why This Path?

This path started through nutrition over 20 years ago. I read about bowel cancer, that it was affecting many and it seemed ridiculous, I knew even then we have the capacity for radiant health. This lead to incredibly diverse paths but when you think about it everything we learn (and apply!) builds wisdom.
So I’ve had varied interests: quantum physics, visualization, neuroscience, parenting, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Taoism, teachings from the Masters of the Far East, information from channeled beings, soul travel studies, American Indian and Yogi Philosophies. I’m sure there’s more.
My favorite mottos are:
Anything is possible
and
There is always an answer
Why not!

About Just Like That!

I don’t just believe…I know you can get what you want, you simply need willingness to learn how and then apply it.

Just Like That! Front CoverThe book How to Get Anything You Want - Just Like That ! solves the mystery of a happy life. It explains to you the one key to confidence, and an extraordinary and happy life. Life comes down to one single key fact: that you create what you think. While this concept may not be new to some, understanding the nuances of exactly how it plays out in their life often is. By reading this book you will understand what this phrase entails and will be able to apply the concept to get what you want out of life.

“Just Like That !” gives you clear no-nonsense instructions to get what you want, to be used by anyone – no need for any special training or degrees. The details have been kept simple, the jargon left out and down-to-earth plain language used to avoid confusion.

The book liberates you from everything you thought you had to do, and instead do what you want to do. It breaks away from conventional thinking, reveals the forgotten truth of ancient wisdom and uses a layman’s account of quantum physics to explain why you can get what you want, why you are entitled to do so and how doing so helps others. Once you follow your own unique path you will feel good about yourself and be happy every day. Don’t be a follower, be the leader of your own life. The book provides an in-depth, practical, street-smart formula for getting what you want. It also offers exercises to integrate the knowledge into your life.

More pieces of me and the giveaway:

Some important things to know or consider about this book!
You're not just given the book without a clear understanding of how the book is supposed to work, it begins by opening your mind to what you are about to read, it prepares you for what you are about to endure, and gets you into the mind frame that you are who you are, and understanding and accepting who you are is all part of the process to getting what you want, Just Like That!

Now I know that we all tend to be a little apprehensive as it pertains to self-help, we are all stuck in this thinking that this is what and who I am supposed to be, we've adapted and accepted our lives, but considering achieving more by the mere acceptation of who you really are in life. I loved that this book takes your way of thinking and offers another look, another view, another way, I had to allow myself to not be so closed minded in order to be able to accept what this book was offering me.

It is not my intention to sit here and go through the book, tell you all the nitty gritty, bore you with MY insights, but what I will tell you is that you achieve nothing else from the book other than pondering thoughts of other possibilities, knowing a bit more about yourself and what makes you tick, then you've made an achievement and  step in a positive direction. I will tell you that the hardest part of the book for me was Section 2, You Are Responsible for Your Life: The statement alone speaks mountains, but it really allowed me to explore myself and really accept and acknowledge some things that I hadn't previously considered or had enough courage to accept!

The giveaway will be simple, because I think it is important to put others first here, and give you the opportunity to really explore the possibility that there is more you could stand to learn about yourself and there is more out there for you, I want you to consider this thought "It Is NOW up to YOU to Create Magic", if you could have anything you want in your life, what would it be? (Essentially, what would  you hope to gain by reading this book, what do you hope to achieve, or have the courage to discover, earn, achieve? The options are limitless) and leave it as a comment in the comment section. Contest will end 3/30.

(Winner will be chosen utilizing Random.org, please provide your email address so that you can be notified if you win. Winner will have 48 hours after being notified via email to claim their prize, otherwise another winner will be chosen.)

Disclaimer: I received a copy of the book in order to facilitate my review, I will be compensated for this post, however, opinions expressed are in fact my own.

Mixbook 5x7 Custom Birth Announcement Card Review

Mixbook!

What is Mixbook?

Mixbook is a site where you can create fun and beautiful, custom photo books, photo cards, photo birth announcements, invitations, stationary, photo calendars, digital scrapbooking, yearbooks and gifts.

Mixbook is really neat, much like other sites that promise you quality custom photo gifts and cards. But what made Mixbook standout to me was the complete freedom I had to design my project. I was able to snag photos from my Facebook account, Picasa account and of course my computer. Not to mention the designing elements, there were so many options to choose from. It made my project fun and exciting, knowing that I had full creative control. With that creative design control, I decided to take my 30 5x7 Flat Custom Photo Birth Announcement Cards and morph them into something that I'd love, appreciate and others could appreciate too, for its creativity and originality when they received it in the mail. I made them into note cards featuring my most favorite little princess, Isabella!

It started like this:

And by the time I was done with it, I turned it into this:

When I received them I was very pleased with the quality of the card stock, though I have minor regrets as it pertains to  the coating of the cards. Had I thought it out better, I would've gotten the "Budget" Uncoated Basic Card stock instead of the Classic Coated, though it made for a beautiful presentation of the cards, it made writing on them a bit of a challenge. Next time I'll more than likely go with the basic card stock for this purpose.

Mixbook is available on the web at www.mixbook.com, on Facebook and on twitter!

**PS. When you like them on Facebook, you'll receive coupon codes for $10 off and $15 off of your purchases. So definitely check them out.**

Disclaimer: Though I received a set of customized 5x7 flat photo birth announcement cards in order to facilitate my review, I received no other compensation, thoughts and opinions expressed here are in fact my own.

Until Next Time,

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Shutterfly Photo Yearbooks

I just love it when  there are new ways for me to compile memories of my children so we can remind ourselves of what used to be. As an adult, I can tell you that I don't have too many memories from my past that I can reflect upon, flip through, pick up, touch, feel or laugh at,  and it is because of this that I've decided that I will ensure that my children do have the ability to do so. I've started making photo pages, albums, compiling baby items,  and putting them into their memory boxes. I feel that it is extremely important that we save our memories by documenting them and now Shutterfly has brand new Photo Yearbooks to help you achieve that.

Shutterfly Photo Yearbooks are easy to make, they've got specially designed template pages, along with "favorite student" and faculty pictures, giving you the ability to make your photo yearbook just the way you want it with their all new custom path. Shutterfly photo books are award winning, printed in color and bound professionally, making memories that are built to last, plus you can always re-order.

Who could use a photo yearbook? I'm seriously considering having one made for our Girl Scout troop, with all of their adventures, troop meetings, event planning meetings, they spend so much time together, those are the kind of memories that I know my daughter will want to remember and share.  But I'm also thinking who else could benefit or utilize these yearbooks. Just about everyone really, daycare centers,  especially for the younger aged classes filled with children who don't attend school, my daughter Isabella has a great time flipping through our albums and identifying the people in the photographs. Even school clubs, like my daughter's Robotics Club or the Make A Difference Club, that would be a great way to document their adventures together and the events that they participated, photographs of the community that they helped rebuild or clean up, how exciting are these possibilities, definitely something to explore.

Shutterfly is offering classes or schools who order up to 75% off bulk orders with prices as low as $5 per book (you'll have to contact them for a quote first), in my opinion, at $5 a yearbook, the price can't be beat, especially when you consider the cost for your high school yearbook, I remember it being at least $55 for a yearbook in 97', I can only imagine what the cost will be for my son.  I encourage each and every one of you to consider the possibilities, consider what you could do and how you could document the memories and share them with a photo yearbook.

Check out Shutterfly on Facebook, Twitter, and Pintrest to learn more about photo yearbooks and the other great products they have to offer.

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post by Shutterfly, who encouraged bloggers to share and spread the news about their latest product, photo yearbooks, though this post is sponsored and inspired by Shutterfly, my thoughts and opinions were in no way influenced by Shutterly directly or indirectly, all thoughts and opinions are in fact my own.

Little One Books: "LEMONS ARE NOT RED", review and giveaway

I've had the opportunity to work with Little One Books in the past, I've learned about their vision, their products and so far, I just adore Little One Books to suit my child's needs in literature, music and now even art! (To learn more about Little One Books through my eyes, please visit my previous post:Not just books, there's a free gift waiting for you at Little One Books)

The one thing I love about Little One Books is that I can go in and search for books in my child's age group, I can anticipate books that are carefully selected, because all of the books that I've purchased and received from Little One Books, have become a big hit with Isabella, so when I had the opportunity to review a book, I wanted to very selective with the book I chose. I wanted to hone in on Isabella's curiosity, her level of thinking, what peaks her interest and of course, vast, beautiful color, I chose to review "Lemons Are Not Red" by Laura Vaccaro Seeger.

The reason for this selection, was that I wanted to not only entertain my child with a good book, I wanted to educate her at the same time. This book promised beautiful vivid colors (that would keep her attention), but it had a unique cutout design on every page, starting with the book's jacket, the cut out of the lemon on the red background. Each page is designed with short versed sentences, and contrasting statements, creating an interactive style of learning, educating and reading, which Isabella really enjoyed.

~*Giveaway*~
The great part about today's giveaway, is that it was not chosen by me, but my 2 year old Isabella! When I sat her at the desk to look at the art prints, a new addition to Little One Books, she quickly noticed Jazzy! Jazzy the Jellyfish to be exact. She proclaimed that she absolutely had to have Jazzy! "Jellyfish, Jellyfish, I like the Jellyfish, can I see the Jellyfish?"... I'll admit that I was rather surprised by her selection, but if my little princess adored Jazzy, I felt reassured that my readers would too! The picture does it no justice, the colors are even more beautiful in person!!! Their prints are 11 x 17, they're as beautifully crafted as the other selections at Little One Books, their bright, vivacious and unique and cost $30. But today, one of my readers will have the opportunity to win this art print courtesy of Little One Books!

Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of Lemons Are Not Red in order to facilitate a review by Little One Books, I have received no monetary compensation for this post, all opinions expressed are my own. Spring Fling

Now anyone that knows me, KNOWS that I don't do dresses. Ever since I've struggled with my weight, I decided that it'd be best that I stick with dark shades in slacks and tops that don't show off all that I'm housing underneath them, yes, I hide behind my clothes and I make it look so good that NO ONE believes how big I really am. Is that a good thing? Sure.

But see, now it's the first day of spring, I open my email and see this ad, beautiful shades of pinks, oranges and fuchsia, and gosh am I inspired to break from the monotony and try something different!!! Now I'm not saying that I'm going out and buying a dress, but one who is modest in the way that they dress themselves can still incorporate color into their safe wardrobe.

If this ad doesn't inspire you to douse your wardrobe in some vivacious color, I don't know what will? The yellow backdrop alone just screams at me, HELLO SUNSHINE!!!! Then you add in those beautiful shades, they're gorgeous. The email was entitled, "Be flirty. Be bold. Be you." Well now! I'm not very flirty, but I'm flirting with the idea of changing things up a bit, I'm banking that when I do that, my self-esteem will get a very large boost in a positive direction.

So I went and "shopped all dresses", my department left something to be desired, however I will note that ONE designer consistently caught my eye! Now there is one woman who knows that just because a woman has curves, doesn't mean she has to dress frumpish, she doesn't have to always wear dark shades (like me) and she can be beautiful no matter her size. She understands what it is and what it means to see beautiful, dress beautiful and lastly be beautiful.

So these are the few selections that caught my eye. I've learned to flatter my figure, so I know that an empire dress like the the first two will take your attention away from my mid-section and bring focus to an area that I much more comfortable with, and have you looking more at my face than the disaster that is or may be.  The last dress, well that was just a fun dress, I know even if I were slimmer, I probably wouldn't wear something that hugged my curves so well, but it was so beautiful, full of color and it just wowed me and made me dream a little.

You've reached the point in my blog post where I go into my CD Rant (perhaps I can sway you to consider this my observations?):

So I wanted to point out something to the stylists and the marketing designers of the ad, first thing I noticed about the ad, was "Be Flirty, Be Bold, Be You", all of the women are beautiful, they're sexy, their flirty, except the one in the orange dress, she appears to be awkward and out of place in that ad. Then when I went looking at all dresses in my department, I did not see ONE dress that looked similar to the ad, and when I did hone in on the dresses I did like, they happened to be all from one designer who had just about all of their models in the SAME SHOES? Seriously? I like shoes, I like cute shoes, I like sandals, flats are nice, why do they have the same shoe on with each and every dress I chose? Were there not any different selections available? Lastly, I wanted to say that I while I can appreciate a beautiful dress, I personally am not drawn to a dress that will hug my every curve. When I think of plus size, I don't think 14, I was really thin at 14, I'd love to see a REAL plus sized model. Shoot, I volunteer myself, make me look good in a dress!!!

Well that's it for this CD and Closet Fashionista, sharing my two cents,

Ristorante Pizza by Dr.Oetker #I'm a BzzAgent

I'm a BzzAgent so I feel obligated to share with you one of the most awesome BzzCampaigns that I've been a part of as a member of BzzAgentRistorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker... Now, typically I'd think that all pizza is the same, but we all know that not to be true, there are certain factors that can make or break a pizza, for me it is its authentic unique quality to satisfy my taste buds. How does a pizza achieve such an honor?

Well like Ristorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker, its flavor is unique. I'll explain. For starters its a thin crust pizza (so naturally, I'm going with it's healthy for me, okay, better for me than original crust, gosh). Secondly, the different variety selections while seem usual and reminiscent of other flavor varieties, it's NOT! Ristorante Pizza is available in 6 different 10" varieties, I'll list the two I chose to sample first:

Vegetale - Tangy tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, chilies, sour cream sauce
Mozzarella - Fresh mozzarella, sun-ripened tomatoes, zesty pesto sauce
Funghi - Aromatic mushrooms, mozzarella, tomato sauce, parsley oregano
Quattro Formaggi - 4 premium cheeses: edam, mozzarella, emmental, blue cheese, basil seasoning
Speciale - Pepperoni, cooked ham, spicy herbs
Spinaci - Savory leaf spinach, mozzarella, hearty garlic sauce

Now I can't express my opinion on the varieties that I didn't sample, but what I can tell you that the combination of the flavors on the Pizza Vegetale was the most amazing thing I had ever tasted, it has that tang and crunch, the crust was crisp, and the entire pizza (was I supposed to share?) was completely appetizing.

The Mozzarella pizza threw me off a bit, and I'll admit that when I opened it at first glance it didn't look appetizing and appealing to me, the green globs looked like fungus was spreading and it scared me. But if I judged the pizza based on looks alone before it was cooked, well, I'd never try it, so...I proceeded to give it a chance anyway. I preheated the oven, set the time for 12 minutes (I like a crispy crust, but prefer it not crack with each bite) and waited, and yes, I peaked in on it.

When it was done, I was still apprehensive at first, but once  I bit into the first slice, I was impressed, the pesto (which I had always thought was just ewww), made the average "cheese pizza" really shine, it added a boost or originality to each bite. I can't explain the flavor, but the sauce wasn't overbearing (tomato sauce that is, I'm not a huge fan of places that abuse tomato sauce, because while I appreciate food, my stomach can't handle everything), I also appreciated the two different types of cheeses, shredded and sliced, it really made this pizza something to remember. At just $4.99, well, its a definitely re-buy in my book.

I invite you all to visit  Ristorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker or Ristorante.us for more information about Dr. Oetker and Ristorante Pizza. But I also have eight $1.50 off one Ristorante Pizza by Dr Oetker for the first eight people to claim them. That makes for a very inexpensive pizza. Not sure if your store sells them, well check out the websites listed above to see if your grocery store chain carries them. I found the varieties discussed at my local Harris Teeter and it wasn't listed on their site. So you never know!

You should know that I did receive two coupons for free Ristorante Pizza by BzzAgent, my thoughts and opinions expressed are a product of my own making. I was not asked to write a blog about it, but I was encouraged to spread the Bzz.

Ghirardelli Chocolate #SheSpeaks Blogger Society

Would it be wrong to start off by saying that SheSpeaks is awesome, amazing and I love that I get to speak my voice? Well I just they are!

I was a part of the Milk & Truffle GHIRARDELLI SQUARES® Program through SheSpeaks, they offered me a bag of delicious Ghirardelli Squares in exchange for my thoughts?! Awesome deal right?

I tell you what, I had happened to be on a diet when I received my beautiful blue bag, I generously handed out the little blue and gold foil wrapped chocolates to each one of my family members to eat and share their thoughts, you know kids, its good! Blah, unacceptable, I needed substance, I need a meat and potatoes review. I was thoroughly disappointed by the response, yet and still, I didn't unwrap the chocolate and pop one in my mouth. I had settled in the fact that I wouldn't try them and fail myself and SheSpeaks by not providing a review....

That is until I was up late one night doing homework all by my lonesome and my box of goodies (yes, I have a box filled with freebies, samples and the like stashed for nights as I am about to describe where I go to for inspiration) was calling my name, it said "Rose come open me", so I did, and there was the beautiful royal blue and gold shiny bag with just two squares left. I thought to myself, "NO, this would be cheating! and then the little she devil said, "NO, to not eat is a injustice in itself", I quickly unwrapped the beautiful chocolate square and sunk my teeth into it... Let me just say that the fact that is says Truffle on the package and wrapping tempted me, so it was the little shoulder she devil, I promise...

Instantly, I felt the smooth chocolate melt in my mouth, the center was filled with truffle filling just oozed in my mouth, this was the most divine chocolate I have EVER tasted, I began to admire the chocolate, I started staring at it, but it was melting in my hands, so I hoovered it. THAT'S right! I said it. I stopped biting it daintily and ate it!

If I say so myself, it was the best treat I had since I had started my diet! I was very pleased to be able to sample and share my thoughts with you.

While I don't have any giveaway to offer, I am offering 2 $1.00 off coupons to the first two people that comment on this post.  They expire at the end of the month, so they need to get out of my hands ASAP, no sense in wasting them, but I can't use them.

Pile on the Layers with Old Navy Tees! #I'm a Crowdtapper!

If there is one thing that I love about Crowdtap, it's the opportunity it has given me to not only think outside the box, but it has encouraged me to step outside the box as well. Crowdtap has given me ample opportunities to express myself and make my opinion count, I've been encouraged to feel and be empowered by the sheer expression of my opinion!

I was very happy to have been chosen to participate in the Old Navy Pile On The Layers Sample and Share, it seems that the going trend for this is to take my Mom, which now I can also accredit Mother/Daughter bonding to Crowdtap as well. (BONUS!)

We headed out to the Old Navy Outlet and sought out the Old Navy "Best Tees and Tanks". I say "Best Tees" because I had no idea what I was looking for, so I reviewed the coupon and learned that I had multiple options. We quickly starting pairing colors and went to and from the changing room several times. It was a huge challenge for me because I decided to step outside the box and try on color. Not dark on dark, which is generally my go to selection. If you're a plus sized woman such as myself you'd definitely understand that. Who can't appreciate black or a beautiful shade of heather gray? My first few selections were a bust, I didn't like how the tees fit or the color combo and the contrast against my skin.

While I wanted to step outside the box, my heart was calling out for darker shades! So I did I, I grabbed a darker shade of blue, paired it with a heavy orange and tried it on, my heart was very happy, but my mind was relatively apprehensive, this is my norm, this is what I do and I'm encouraged to make my layers pop....This just wasn't working! Meanwhile my mother was having a blast trying on yellow, pink, stripes, turquoise, I'm was a bit frustrated with my body, and myself.

So I reverted back to my original palate, only I flipped the colors....Yes, the smile is forced, but the happy feeling is genuine!! I found it, or did I?
Yes, I kept looking, because naturally that is what women do, I wanted to be sure of my choices. Ah, I must mention that this was the ONO V-Neck Best Tee and that the Tank was "The Tami". I originally wasn't working with the Tami because well I didn't resort back to my coupon until I was confirming my choices, and well, I found these on my way out which a whole world of difference. The Tami Tank is soft, stretchy and feels so soft and smooth against my skin, plus they fit a little longer too. With that being said, it said that the Tami maintained it's original shape and fit. A HUGE BONUS! So my mother and I quickly switched our selections to include the Tami. I also that I bought another tee combo, it's a luscious v-neck in a bright shade of yellow and I paired it with a bright fushia Tami tank. YAY! I finally did it, I stepped outside of the box which is my natural comfort zone!!! PS. I wore it yesterday and I looked fantastic!

But I digress, we've found our final selections, we wait in the long line, and are helped by a nice gentlemen. He rings up my order and I find that I'm still being charged for the tee, but the Tami tank was removed by the coupon. He sits and stares at the coupon for a while, he declares that the tees are probably not the right ones, I showed him that they were on the coupon, then I realize how they rang up... ONO V-Neck Best Tee, might there in lie the problem? But to appease me and make me a happy customer, he gave it to me anyway, only I had to pay $.01... Not too bad a deal for convenience eh?

This is not a valid coupon just a depiction of the one I received.

All in all I can say that my experience was a success, it has made me realize some things about myself and my comfort zone. I've learned that I do look good in color and I can wear it and feel confident. That is key. I had a wonderful experience thanks to Crowdtap offering me and a friend (or in my case, my mom) the opportunity to Pile On The Layers and try new things!!! I love being a Crowdtapper and being a part of the Old Navy Style Council, looking forward to the next opportunity!!!!

Finger Painting Is Serious Business, Wordless Wednesday

Finger painting with Isabella

Finger Painting with Isabella is the most enjoyable experience, but judging by the expression on her face as she saturates my palm with multiple colors of paint, finger painting is also a very serious business and work of art!

Side note: I wasn't very impressed with this finger paint, does anyone have any recommendations for me on what might be a better paint to use. I think this was some off brand that I bought a six pack of at Michael's, it's no good!
