Sad, but true, so I decided that it was important for me to document for my children. It is rather sad, but my greatest accomplishment this year, was finally filling an entire album. Now I have so many more pictures, that I need more albums! I love creating photo books, and designing photographs, but my most favorite treasure, is scrapbooking. It really creates "art" for your photographs, it takes a lot more time and creativity and that is something I want my children to treasure and enjoy in the future.
This photographs shows of postcards and notes and trinkets from our trip to Savannah, GA. For me it doesn't always have to be anything specific or themed, but I love buying postcards from every place I stop, and so they will all eventually make their way into this book or into an album.
When I started this book, I began using the glue stick that came with the book, and as I review the pages, I'm noticing that the edges (I assumed I smothered in enough glue), are now raising, I'm wondering how long will these photographs stay in place. One of the ideas of this said SMASH book was that everything you need is right there in place for you to just SMASH and go, but it doesn't help if my smashing designs are lifting at the seams, does it? So I was really excited to be introduced to Tombow Adhesive Glue. This is a permanent, acid free, adhesive glue, just perfected suited for archival projects such as my delectable Smash, and especially safe for photographs!
What I like, appreciate and love about the product:
Tombow adhesive glue is so easy to use. I simply lined the edges of my postcard (it displayed a blue tint, so I knew where I was placing the glue) with one downward swipe of the ergonomic Tombow Adhesive Glue Applicator. There wasn't any excess residue or over use of the product necessary to secure the postcard, which really saves on waste.
The glue applicator has a cap so it doesn't accidentally unravel or get items accidentally stuck to it, as I don't have the best storage system for my scrapbook tools.
Tombow adhesive glue secures my photographs into place instantaneously (no wait time, no drying necessary), after I lined the edges, I decided on the placement and set it on the page. It was just that easy!
And lastly, it has super convenient refills... so you're not spending extra cash to buy a whole new applicator, and you're also recycling and saving on waste. I love that!
Until Next Time,
